BACKGROUND
Since I had Unseen Beauty portrayed in a spring, summer and fall atmosphere it was only logical to make the next in the series a winter one. With this story, I was able to do a play on words where Urie literally "makes" a snow friend and then makes the snow friend, Snowball, a friend.
There was a couple of things I wanted to tackle in this story. One was to not only be a friend to a person that is new to the area but also as the new person, be an easy person to be a friend with ...along with it being okay to having more than one friend.
A fun story to write and create, growing up with Frosty the Snowman, I wanted to tell a different snowman story. Having it be a snow friend instead, named Snowball. Keeping with the format of all the other books in the Unseen Beauty series, it too is a gender-less story. One that all can relate to and hopefully enjoy.
